The Tree of the Wall is the name of the book published in October 2012 that the psychoanalyst and poet Eva Puente wrote after countless hours of conversation with Jack Fuchs.
Over the course of two years, and based on a weekly meeting, the author collected Fuchs’s words, who only began to tell his story forty years after the horror. During this interview process, Puente contacted documentary filmmaker Tomás Lipgot to fully record the testimony of the survivor. Together they traveled to Poland, where they toured the concentration camps and the places narrated by Fuchs. «The book is a mix of Jack’s story, what I experienced in Poland and the stories I heard there» describes Puente.
