In the Argentine collective imagination it is said that if we dig a deep tunnel we will reach China, that there is nothing more opposite and further away from us. Despite the fact that we are antipodes, immigration connects us.<\/p>

This documentary proposes to explore the singularity of Chinese migrants and the diversity of their experiences in Argentina.<\/p>

Seeds that fall far from their roots presents stories such as those of Gustavo Ng, a journalist active in the bilateral political dialogue; Yinyin, a woman with a passion for vegetable gardening who, through her community work, plants seeds from both countries in the same land; Teresa Yuan, a psychoanalyst who introduced the practice in China; and Federico Chang, the son of immigrants who is training to be a professional footballer.<\/p>

These stories, along with others from the argenchina <\/em>community, present in an intimate and reflective way the crossroads between the two cultures, bringing us closer to those who live the conflict of identity and attachment on a daily basis.<\/p>
